There are several ways to add content:

1. Browser Extension - Install the add-on in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari and click the Summ-it icon while viewing any web page (or right-click a link).
2. Share from any app - Use your device's share button and select Summ-it
3. Paste URL or text - Tap Clipboard button in the app and paste any link or text
4. Save open tabs in bulk - In the browser extension, switch to "Tabs" mode to batch-save every tab in your current window
5. Forward email - Forward emails to summary@summ-it.pro (generate summary) or full@summ-it.pro (full article)

Yes. In the browser extension, switch to Tabs mode - you'll see every tab in the current window with checkboxes. Pick the ones you want, choose summary or full read, and hit Save. They're queued in parallel, so twenty tabs land in your playlist in seconds.

Articles, blog posts, web pages, YouTube videos (transcript), Reddit and X posts, newsletters, PDFs, and plain text. Add them by sharing or pasting a link, pasting text, uploading a file, or forwarding an email.

Install from the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, or the Mac App Store for Safari. The Chrome extension also works with Edge, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers.

Yes! Tap the Clipboard button in the app to paste:

- URLs - Paste any article link and we'll fetch and process it
- Text - Paste any text (notes, excerpts, documents) and we'll convert it to audio

This is great for content that doesn't have a shareable link.

Yes! Your account syncs across all devices. Sign in with the same account on any Android device to access your content.

Some content types are not yet supported:

- Login-required sites - Paywalled or authenticated pages where we can't access the content
- Non-standard layouts - Some sites with unusual structures or heavy JavaScript rendering
- Image-only content - Pages with little or no text

Credits are not charged if content can't be processed. Of cause, you can always copy the text and paste it directly using the Clipboard button in the app or the "Paste Text" feature in the browser extension.

We use advanced AI to extract key points, conclusions, and insights. You choose brief (1-2 min), standard (2-3 min), or detailed (3+ min) summaries.

Free users get basic voice supported on their device (after trial ended). Pro/Premium users get natural-sounding AI voice.

Yes! Audio immediately and seamlessly downloaded to the device for offline listening.

Yes. Summ-it supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay - control playback from your car's display, hands-free.

Tap the speed button (1x) in the right corner of the player to cycle through speeds: 0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x.

Labels help you categorize your articles:

1. Long tap any item in your queue
2. Select "Edit Labels"
3. Select existing labels or create new ones
4. You can filter your queue by label to find content quickly or to play only specific items

Tap the filter icon at the top of your queue to filter by:

- Labels - Show only articles with specific labels
- Length - Short, medium or long articles
- Text - Filter by text in the content

Combine multiple filters to find exactly what you're looking for.
You can also play filtered queue to only listen to specific items.

Playlists let you group articles for continuous listening:

1. Go to the Queue combo
2. Select an existing playlist to play it
3. Or go to Playlists in the menu and create.edit smart playlists based on labels and other properties.

Great for commutes, workouts, or topic-based listening sessions.

Yes! Create as many playlists as you want. Examples:

- "Morning Commute" - Short articles for your drive
- "Deep Dives" - Longer form content for weekends
- "Work Topics" - Industry news and research

Long-press any item in a playlist and drag it to a new position. Your custom order is saved automatically.

When you open an article, the Discover tab shows links found within that content. It automatically extracts URLs from the article so you can easily explore and add related content to your queue.

Tap any discovered link to:

- Generate AI summary - Create a summary of the linked article
- Add full article - Add the complete article to your queue
- Open in browser - View the original page
- Copy link - Copy the URL to clipboard

Link discovery is a premium feature. Free users see a limited preview; Pro and Premium subscribers get full access to all discovered links.

The Sessions button (lightning icon) in the bottom navigation lets you start a listening session based on a topic. The badge shows the number of available session topics from the last listening session.

1. Tap the Sessions button in the bottom navigation
2. Browse available topics
3. Select a topic to see related articles
4. Start the session to add articles to your queue for continuous playback

An item is one piece of saved content processed with premium AI voice or features like Links Discover and Translations. Each summary or full-audio listen counts as 1 item. Free users can use basic voice without using items.

Each generation — summary or full audio — costs 1 item, regardless of article length. Some languages require more advanced AI voice models and may cost 2 items per generation; the app shows the exact cost before you confirm.

You can upgrade your plan for more items, or continue with basic voice for new content until your billing period ends and your items reset.

Pro/Premium items reset monthly on your billing date. Unused items don't roll over to the next month.

Manage your subscription anytime in the app (Account Settings) or through Google Play Subscriptions (Android) or Settings > Subscriptions (iOS). No questions asked.

When your trial items are used up you continue in the free tier. Your content stays, but you'll use the basic voice and features for new content.

Forward any newsletter or article to one of these addresses from your registered email:

- summary@summ-it.pro - Creates a summary
- full@summ-it.pro - Processes the full article

Make sure you're sending from the email address registered with your Summit account.

Yes. We don't sell your data. Articles are processed to generate audio, then you control what stays. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You can delete your account from Account Settings in the app, or request deletion here. This permanently removes all your data.
